Als einer der wenigen Fachärzte im Raum Zürich ist Dr. med. Michel Schneider (Praxisinhaber) Vorreiter im Bereich der minimal-invasiven endoskopischen („Schlüssellochtechnik“) Operationen an der Wirbelsäule. Zudem führt er auch komplexe Operationstechniken durch, wie z.B. über einen seitlichen Zugang zur Wirbelsäule. Unsere Praxis ist zentral und bestens erschlossen. Wir haben für Sie private Tiefgaragenparkplätze mit direktem Liftzugang. Wie wir arbeiten
Im Zentrum unserer Arbeit steht dabei eine ganzheitliche Diagnose mit einer anschliessenden individuellen Behandlung.
Beim ersten Termin ist es wichtig, dass Sie ausführlich und in Ruhe Ihre Nacken- und/oder Rückenbeschwerden unseren Fachärzt:innen beschreiben können, wie Sie diese im Alltag belasten, seit wann die Probleme bestehen, wie sie beeinflusst werden können und wie sich die Beschwerden seit Beginn entwickelt haben. Danach werden Sie von unseren Fachärzt:innen körperlich untersucht, insbesondere zur Erkennung von neurologischen Ausfallerscheinungen wie Gefühlsstörungen und Lähmungen.

Erstgespräch
Als erste Praxis in der Schweiz haben wir die neueste Generation eines Siemens Healthineers-Röntgengerät vor Ort, mit dessen Hilfe wir unter anderem Ganzwirbelsäulenaufnahmen durchführen können. Die Röntgenuntersuchungen direkt vor Ort ermöglichen eine sehr rasche Diagnosestellung.

Untersuch
In enger Zusammenarbeit mit mehreren Röntgeninstituten im Kanton Zürich und Umgebung erhalten Sie je nach Dringlichkeit einen MRI-Termin innerhalb von wenigen Tagen, im Notfall auch am selben Tag. Sobald Sie einen Termin erhalten haben, können Sie schnell und bequem online oder per Telefon einen Termin in unserer Praxis für eine MRI-Besprechung mit dem behandelnden Facharzt buchen.

Diagnose
Wir konzentrieren uns stets auf die Suche nach dem jeweils optimalen nichtoperativen Verfahren, wie z.B. einer gezielten Schmerztherapie. Die operativen Verfahren kommen erst zum Einsatz, falls die konservativen Behandlungen nicht den gewünschten Erfolg bringen sollten. Eine mögliche Schmerztherapie mit grossem Erfolg ist Infiltration (Schmerzspritze), die wir vor Ort innerhalb von wenigen Tagen durchführen können.
